Kidnapped journalist in Rivers State mrs Priestba Wokocha regain freedom

The Nigeria police Rivers State Command said the kidnapped female journalist, Priestba Wokocha who is a director at Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation has regained her freedom.

Recall that rivnews reported about Mrs Priestba Wokocha's adoption last week by own men in Port Harcourt.

The PPRO of Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe Koko, made this known to Nigeria today Thursday after her release.

Her captors demanded N150 million ransom as reported by rivnews in an update, but later reduced it to N10 million, following several calls for her unconditional release but it is unclear if any ransom was paid to secure her release.
