Rivers State NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Nonwa-Gbam Tai was agog this night as it hosted the Variety Night for 2023 Batch B Stream 1 for Corps Members deployed to Rivers State.
The Variety Night is a special night set aside on camp to crown the winner of Miss NYSC and Mr Macho contest.
At the end of tonight's contest, 1 Platoon contestant clinched the Miss NYSC crown while 10 Platoon contestants won the Mr Macho contest.
The 2023 Batch B Stream 1 Variety Night was sponsored by International Breweries limited who equally got lots of mouthwatering gift items for the Corps Members.
First and second runners-up in each of the competitions also went home with lavishing gift items.
Rivers State NYSC Coordinator, Mr George Mfongang in a remark, appreciated the Management of International Breweries Plc, sponsors of the Variety Night for choosing to partner with the Scheme to provide fun for Corps Members deployed to the State.
On his part, the Sales Representative of International Breweries Plc, Rivers State, Mr. Sly Okoeko expressed joy and gratitude to the NYSC Management for the opportunity given them to put smiles on the faces of the Corps Members deployed to Rivers State.
He assured that the partnership has come to stay in order to give a sense of belonging to the elite graduate youths.
