The results, announced during the national collation at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, showed Tinubu defeating his only challenger, Stanley Osifo, by a massive margin.
According to the final figures from the direct primary conducted across 8,809 wards nationwide, President Tinubu polled 10,999,967 votes, while Osifo secured 16,504 votes.
The exercise was supervised by the APC Presidential Primary Election Committee chaired by former Senate President Pius Anyim. Governors from 31 states, alongside top party officials serving as coordinators and collation officers, presented results from their respective states.
In the South-West, widely regarded as a stronghold of the ruling party, Tinubu recorded impressive victories. Lagos delivered 814,988 votes, Ogun 322,485, Ondo 181,996, Oyo 142,754, Osun 100,888, and Ekiti 85,340 votes. Osifo recorded only a few votes across the region.
The North-West also showed strong support for the President, with Kaduna returning 618,914 votes and Kano producing 500,852 votes. Katsina gave Tinubu 467,003 votes, while Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara delivered significant numbers in his favour.
In the North-Central region, Tinubu maintained a comfortable lead with strong performances in Benue, Kwara, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kogi, and Niger states. The Federal Capital Territory also recorded 36,103 votes for the President.
The South-East and South-South zones equally produced notable results for Tinubu. Imo led the South-East with 582,960 votes, followed by Enugu with 383,382 votes. In the South-South, Delta delivered 407,646 votes, Akwa Ibom 389,197, Rivers 280,082, and Bayelsa 227,192 votes.
At the end of the nationwide collation, President Tinubu secured a landslide victory with nearly 11 million votes, reaffirming his dominance within the ruling APC ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
