Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has arrive the federal Capital territory (FCT) ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers that will serve in the cabinet of president Bola Tinubu.
The governor traveled to the federal Capital territory to falicitatae and witness the swearing-in of his predecessor chief Barrister Ezenwo Wike as minister of FCT.
Recall that President Tinubu as a minister in his cabinet and has assigned the portfolio of FCT to the Immediate past Governor who is still a member of the main opposition party, the PDP as the President will on Monday, August 21, 2023, swear in ministers.
The swearing-in is billed to hold at the State House, Aso villa by 10 am according to a statement by the Director, Information Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey.
He said the ministers are allowed to come with two guests each.
The Governor arrived the Federal Capital Territory in company of the state chairman of Peoples Democratic Party Ambassador Desmond Akawor, Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly Martins Amaewhule and other stalwarts of the the party
