A former attorney General of Rivers State Chief Frank Owhor has been nominated as a member of North East development commission.
Chief Frank Owhor from chioba Community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State served as the Attorney General of Rivers State from 1996 to 1999.
He has been a member of Peoples Democratic Party.
Members of the board were inaugurated at the presidential villa by vice president of Nigeria Kashim Shettima at the presidential villa.
The vice president noted and tasked the Committee that development is not all about "today, we must remember that development is not merely about bricks and mortar".
He urged to prioritize access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities in the region emphasizing on the importance of human capital development said progress is about empowering minds, cultivating talent, and fostering an environment where dreams can flourish.
