Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board team led by the ES, Dr Kinikanwo Green the SC SYDANI and SC NPHCDA went on an advocacy /courtesy call to the Council of chiefs secretariat which is under the leadership of the Chairman Rivers State Council of traditional Rulers HRM Sir Serg Awuse Nyenwe-Eli Emuoha on 18th July 2023.
Top on the discussion was the implementation and urgent actions needed to set up and inaugurate health committees on all levels in the state to support the Southern Religious and Traditional Leaders Engagement Project (SORTLE).
The Area Council of Chiefs were also invited to the meeting and they all committed to the project’s immediate start in the state.
