Ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election, Pastor Joel Odigwe of the Glory of Wealth and Righteousness Fellowship in Asaba, Delta State, has called on opposition figure Peter Obi to seek spiritual guidance regarding his political ambition.
Speaking in a video shared on his YouTube platform, the cleric stated that elections in Nigeria are not decided by ballots alone but also through spiritual influence and divine direction.
Pastor Odigwe claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s rise to power in 2023 was connected to what he described as “the highest sacrifice” made toward achieving his long-term political ambition.
The preacher further advised Obi, who is reportedly linked with the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), to surround himself with respected spiritual leaders capable of offering accurate prophetic guidance ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The statement has continued to generate reactions online as political discussions ahead of the next election cycle gradually intensify across the country.
